Top-seeded University of Rochester posted a 60-54 win over No. 2 St. John Fisher College in the championship game of the 44th Annual Wendy's College Classic.   Milan Moncrief was named as the Classic's Most Valuable Player, becoming the first freshman in Classic history to earn the top honor.

For the seventh time in the 44 years, University of Rochester and St. John Fisher College will meet in the title game of the Wendy's College Classic.  Rochester rallied from 13 points down to beat Roberts Wesleyan in overtime, while Fisher used a 15-2 run midway through the second half to beat RIT 77-57 in the other semifinal game.
